GTS COMMUNICATIONS ANNOUNCES MERGER
WITH OHIO COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY

NORTH OLMSTED, OH - GTS Communications, an inner-connect telecommunications firm specializing in custom business phone systems and fiber cabling for data, voice and audio-visual applications, is pleased to announce its merger with Ohio Communications Technology [OCT].

For the last six years, OTC, a Canton area telecom business, has focused on the installation and maintenance of Norstar and Nortel phone systems. OTC owner Douglas Pitcher, Sr. joins GTS principals Jerry and Victoria Stallard in the newly created role of operations manager, bringing all of his clients and 13 years experience in the industry with him. The merger boosts sales for the Stallards by approximately 10%. The combined company's name will remain GTS Communications.

Pitcher's customers are typically mid-size to Fortune 500 firms, primarily in Ohio. He has also served accounts in Louisiana, Pennsylvania and Kentucky. Pitcher became acquainted with GTS earlier this year when he subcontracted for them on several phone system projects,

"As we got to know Doug, we realized how much we have in common in terms of business philosophy, values and expansion plans," says Jerry Stallard.

GTS begins its tenth year in business in 2006, employs a total of 12, and serves all of Ohio and states throughout the Midwest and South. The company has maintained an annual average growth rate of nearly 25%, and has had no voluntary employee turnover in its history. Sales for 2005 are up approximately 35% over last year. That kind of success this year earned GTS the COSE Ten Under 10 award and Weatherhead 100 honors.

Plans are underway to move GTS next spring from its present leased location in North Olmsted to a company-owned building in Strongsville more than five times its current size.

"We recognize that certain changes are necessary to take out business, service and expertise to the next level," says Victoria Stallard. "We also know that it's essential to stay true and close to our homegrown roots, and to the client and subcontractor relationships we've build one at a time."
