GTS WINS FIFTH WEATHERHEAD 100 AWARD

GTS Communications, a specialist in business phones, fiber cabling, computer networking, and surveillance systems, has won its fifth consecutive Weatherhead 100 honor for outstanding growth.

The 2009 Weatherhead 100 recognizes more than 100 of the fastest-growing companies in Northeast Ohio based on revenue growth from 2004 to 2008.

During that time, the company posted 100 percent sales growth and 100 percent employment growth. The 22nd annual Weatherhead 100 is presented by Case Western Reserve University's Weatherhead School of Management in partnership with COSE, the Council of Smaller Enterprises, and Inside Business magazine.

Official honors were presented to winning companies at a black-tie dinner ceremony on Dec. 3, 2009 at Landerhaven in Mayfield Heights.

Past awards for GTS include Ernst & Young's Northeast Ohio Entrepreneur of the Year (finalist), SBA's Cleveland Small Business of the Year, three NEO Success Awards and COSE's Ten Under 10 honor.
